Metzger Design is a full service design and build firm specializing in unique custom residential construction. We understand that design services can become an expense that many clients cannot afford.
In response, Metzger Design offers several non-standard pricing options to help bring architect designed residences to home buyers who may otherwise consider an architect a luxury.
Option A - Plans Only
We offer any of our existing house plans for a flat fee. We will provide three copies of our drawings, ready for construction.
$1,000 - $2,000
Option B - Plans + 10 Design Hours
In many circumstances, local building codes and zoning ordinance vary slightly and plans may require slight alterations to be suitable for local permitting. In other cases, you may have a specific need that you would like incorporated into one of our designs. This plan provides for these circumstances.
$2,000 - $3,000
Option C - Plans + Full Design Services
We are happy to start with one of our existing plans and customize it to fit your lifestyle. By working within the constraints of one of our existing designs up to 75% of the design work can already be ready to go. This option offers the most flexibility in making your home uniquely yours.
$3,000 and up
