Residential Design
Metzger Design has been involved with a wide range of residential projects at varying stages in the development process for over 10 years. Our early experiences include large scale apartment and condominium design and construction and has evolved into services that cater to small, select projects. Of particular interest and success has been our commitment to providing affordable urban infill projects to first time homebuyers in the Charlottesville, Virginia area. These projects offer contemporary design and top-notch construction at affordable prices.
We also offer custom design and construction services for a wide range of projects. Whether it's a simple renovation/addition or an estate home our unique combination of design and construction services accompanied by our strong ties with local craftspeople fits the needs of many clients.
Jared is the managing partner focusing on construction management, property acquisition and veterinary design for Metzger Design. He has been practicing architecture for 12 years, with an emphasis on design, real estate development and contract administration and has been a licensed Class A contractor for 8 years. After graduating with his masters in architecture from the University of Virginia in 2000 he worked with several architecture firms in Washington D.C. and in Charlottesville, VA. before establishing Metzger Design.
Jared has actively managed the development of over 250 residential units totaling over 500,000 finished square feet and is currently working on the construction of residential units in the Belmont area of Charltotesville. He is also actively reviewing several animal healthcare facilities in varying stages of completion.
Jared remains closely involved in the architectural detailing of each project Metzger Design undertakes.
