Susannah is the managing design partner for Metzger Design and has been a practicing architect for 7 years with an emphasis in conceptual design and architectural detailing. After graduating with her masters in architecture from the University of Virginia in 2000 she worked with architecture firms in Washington D.C. and in Charlottesville, VA. before establishing Metzger Design.
Susannah is dedicated to maintaining strong design integrity in all aspects of her projects - from schematics through completion and actively manages projects throughout the constuction process.
Susannah has also earned a degree in Architectural History with a specialization in Historic Preservation and maintains a strong interest in the history of Central Virignia architecture.

Jared is the managing partner focusing on construction management and property acquisition for Metzger Design. He has been practicing architecture for 7 years, with an emphasis on contract administration and has been a licensed Class A contractor for 3 years. After graduating with his masters in architecture from the University of Virginia in 2000 he worked with several architecture firms in Washington D.C. and in Charlottesville, VA. before establishing Metzger Design.
Jared remains closely involved in the architectural detailing of each project Metzger Design undertakes.
